Chef Spoons are cooking, serving, and plating spoons crafted of 18/8 stainless steel with original artwork encased in the handle. A master culinary and service utensil, the Chef Spoon performs exceptionally well in the professional kitchen. A unique kitchen accessory, the Chef Spoon is an asset to the home kitchen, as well.
Unlike any other kitchen tool on the market, Chef Spoons feature inlaid original artwork. The material used to encase the art in the spoon’s handle is FDA-approved for food contact and heat-resistant up to 400°F.
“I created Chef Spoons because I wanted a way to say, ‘This spoon is mine. Get your hands off my spoon,’” Chef Adam Aschner, Creator of Chef Spoons and Owner of The Illustrated Chef, begins. “But then it evolved into wanting to create something truly all-purpose, something that cooks and tastes, as well as paints the plate.”
Chef Spoons are the first functional utensils that show one’s personal style and can survive a professional kitchen. Chef Spoons are crafted out of 18/8 stainless steel for extended durability. Their extra large bowl holds 5 tsp of product. The tip of the bowl tapers to a near-point, enabling one to get to those hard to reach corners of the pot, as well as allowing for a more controlled plating experience. The narrow tip makes tasting clean and easy. Thanks to the bowl’s specially designed edges, only a silicone rubber spatula can scrape the sides of a bowl more efficiently than a Chef Spoon. A series of ridges along the handle allow you to keep a firm, non-slip grip on your tool.
Truly an all-purpose spoon, Chef Spoons can be used for cooking, tasting, plating, saucing, stirring, scraping, serving, digging small holes, eating, expressing your personality – even making music.
With close to two hundred designs from which to choose, and the option of designing your very own custom Chef Spoon, there is something for everyone.
